2006 Media Day

We thought all Hokie fans would enjoy a look at the team's 2006 Media Day. The first set of photos are some new additions in and around the Merryman Center and Lane Stadium that we thought you would enjoy seeing now. Click on all photos for a larger version in a new browser window, and enjoy, courtesy of BeamerBall.com! Go Hokies!

Look at all that Orange!
Another new shot of Lane, this one resides outside the meeting rooms in Michael Vick Hall.
Bryan Randall large photo graphic next to Player Major Award Winners. Randall was the 2004 ACC Player of the Year.
Jake Grove large photo graphic next to the All-American's list. Grove was named All-American in 2003.
New updated photo graphics from some of the more recent bowls have been added to Michael Vick Hall. Bryan Randall in the 2002 San Francisco Bowl against Air Force.
Kevin Jones vs. California in the 2003 Insight Bowl
The team takes the field, flags flying, against Auburn in the 2005 Nokia Sugar Bowl.
Although not a new addition, we thought you would like to see this Hokie stone and matching graphic in the halls of the Merryman Center. It matches the one in the players Lane Stadium entrance tunnel.
Bowl plaques inside Lane Stadium, on freshly painted new Lane field walls. New orange and maroon stripes, and new tan colored walls, better match the colorations of the new West Side Addition to Lane Stadium. Kudos to Tom Gabbard (Senior Associate A.D. for Internal Affairs and Facilities) and his staff.
